Welcome

Our Company began trading in 1972 as 'John Austin', becoming incorporated as Austin (Heating & Air Conditioning) Limited in 1974.

The Company has grown at a steady rate, working mainly within the commercial and large residential sectors, providing the services required, whether it is air conditioning, heating, ventilation, cooling, humidification, dehumidification, heat recovery, control systems, water services and suchlike.

Historic buildings are a particular speciality, and the Company regularly works for The National Trust and for others concerned with the conservation of buildings.

John Austin has always believed that good system design and good value is paramount, with the consequence that the Company now has a reputation for handling particularly difficult projects, sometimes on a consulting or design-only basis for other companies within the industry.

A complete service is offered from initial concept or survey, design and computer-aided drawings, and installation through to planned maintenance.

To become an HVCA Trust Mark registered firm, the Company has demonstrated to independent examiners that it has:

  • technical competence
  • good management practices
  • compliance with Health & Safety standards
  • financial probity
  • public liability insurance
  • compliance with statutory requirements for employer's liability insurance
